Ingredients
  

  • 2 lemons, cut into small pieces, skins on, seeds removed
  • 2 lemons juice of
  • 35 leaves fresh mint
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups ice (for serving)

Instructions
 

  • Combine the cut lemons, lemon juice, mint leaves, sugar, and cold water in a blender.
  • Blend until the lemon pieces are fully pureed, approximately 3 minutes.
  • Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher, discarding the pulp.
  • Serve the lemonade over ice, garnished with additional fresh mint.

Notes

This lemonade can be prepared as a non-alcoholic beverage or enhanced with alcohol for a cocktail. For a variation, substitute lime juice for lemon juice. Garnish with extra mint leaves.
