Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¾ cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons white wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cups cooked macaroni pasta cooked and drained
  • 3 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • ½ red bell pepper, diced
  • ¼ red onion, finely diced
  • ½ cup frozen green peas thawed
  • cup chopped celery
  • 1 ½ cups diced ham
  • cup black olives
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  • Layer the ingredients in a large bowl starting with lettuce, followed by pasta, bell pepper, onion, peas, celery, ham, olives, dressing, and cheese.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 5 hours to meld flavors.
  • Toss the salad before serving.

Notes

Cook pasta until al dente to prevent mushiness. Layering with lettuce and pasta at the bottom and dressing and cheese on top is recommended, but feel free to vary the layers.
