Equipment

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 green onion chopped
  • ¼ cup jarred jalapenos chopped
  • ¼ cup peach preserves

Instructions

  • Soften the cream cheese by leaving it at room temperature or submerging a ziplock bag in room temperature water for 15 minutes.
  • Combine the softened cream cheese, chopped green onion, chopped jalapenos, and peach preserves in a medium bowl.
  • Stir the ingredients until they are well mixed.
  • Transfer the mixture to a serving dish.
  • Refrigerate the dip until it is ready to be served.
  • Serve the dip with crackers or pretzel sticks.

Notes

Green onions can be substituted with approximately 1 tablespoon of dried chives. Apricot preserves can be used in place of peach preserves. The dip pairs well with chicken and pork. If serving multiple dips, this pairs well with a fresh spinach artichoke dip (no mayo). Cream cheese must be softened before mixing.
