Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup light brown sugar can substitute with dark brown sugar
  • ½ cup honey maple syrup can be used as a vegan substitute
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard yellow mustard can be used for milder flavor
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter omit for dairy-free or use vegan butter
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar white vinegar can be a substitute

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 275°F (135°C) and place the ham cut-side down in a foil-lined roasting pan.
  • Bake the ham for 2-2.5 hours until warmed through, ensuring the internal temperature reaches 120°F.
  • In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, butter, and apple cider vinegar, stirring to mix well.
  • Simmer the mixture for about 20 minutes until it thickens into a glossy glaze.
  • Baste the ham with the glaze and return it to the oven for an additional 30 minutes.
  • Let the ham cool slightly before slicing and serving warm, optionally drizzling extra glaze over the slices.

Notes

Baste the ham with glaze during the last 30 minutes of cooking for better flavor and to prevent burning. The glaze can be made ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 5 days; reheat before use.
