Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup plain whole milk yogurt regular or Greek style
  • 1 cup trimmed and sliced strawberries fresh or frozen
  • ½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice optional
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup, agave, or honey optional

Instructions
 

  • Combine the yogurt and strawberries in a blender.
  • Blend for 30-60 seconds until the mixture is very smooth.
  • Taste the smoothie and add lemon juice and/or sweetener as needed to adjust flavor.
  • Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 3-5 days. Shake or stir well before serving as separation may occur. Can be frozen in ice cube trays or reusable pouches; thaw overnight in the fridge before blending or serving. Using Greek yogurt results in a thicker texture and higher protein content. Omit added sweetener for babies or toddlers. Best served cold.
