Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 16 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup melted unsalted butter
  • 3-4 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Press one can of crescent rolls into the bottom of the baking dish, sealing seams.
  • Mix softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crescent roll base.
  • Place the second can of crescent rolls over the cream cheese layer, sealing seams.
  • Pour melted butter over the top and sprinkle with a cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and mostly absorbed.
  • Cool completely before slicing into squares.

Notes

These bars can be made ahead of time and may taste better the next day as the flavors meld. Low-fat cream cheese can be used for a lighter option.
