Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups diced pineapple from 1 pineapple for the bowl
  • 2 cups diced bell pepper about 1 large bell pepper, preferably half orange and half red
  • ¼ cup small diced red onion
  • ½ jalapeño seeds removed, small diced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Slice the pineapple in half lengthwise to create a bowl.
  • Carve around the inside of the pineapple and make grid cuts in the flesh.
  • Scoop out the pineapple flesh to create a well for the salsa.
  • Combine the diced ingredients in a bowl and transfer into the pineapple bowl.
  • Serve with tortilla chips.

Notes

This recipe can be doubled or tripled depending on the size of the pineapple bowl.
