Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • cup sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp. ranch seasoning
  • 1 tsp. dried dill
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¾ cup pecans, finely chopped
  • Crackers for serving

Instructions
 

  • Beat softened cream cheese, sour cream, ranch seasoning, and dried dill with a hand mixer until creamy and well combined.
  • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until fully incorporated.
  • Transfer the mixture onto plastic wrap and shape into a ball.
  • Refrigerate for at least one hour to firm up.
  • Place finely chopped pecans on a plate and roll the chilled cheese ball in the pecans until well coated, maintaining the ball shape.
  • Serve with crackers or other dippers.

Notes

Use freshly grated cheddar cheese for better flavor. Finely chop pecans to ensure they coat the cheese evenly. Chill the cheese ball before rolling in nuts to maintain shape. If chilled overnight, let rest at room temperature for at least 2 minutes before serving.
