Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ pounds salmon (skin-on or skin-off)
  • 2 teaspoons light brown sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

Creamy Cajun Sauce

  • ¾ cup mayo
  • 1 ½ tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¾ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Cut the salmon into approximately 1 1/2-inch pieces.
  • Combine salmon pieces with brown sugar, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and olive oil in a bowl and toss to coat.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F and place salmon pieces in the basket, cooking for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
  • Serve the cooked salmon bites with the Cajun sauce, lemon wedges, and minced herbs.

Notes

Leftover salmon bites can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. For a paleo version, substitute coconut sugar for brown sugar and use paleo-friendly mayo.
